WE HAVE BEEN BUSY

2023 Community Activities

Aloha

Our artists have put their talents to work for others again.  Gallery artists donated proceeds from some of their artwork to go to the World Central Kitchen (WCK) in the amount of $322.00.
WCK is first to the frontlines, providing meals in response to humanitarian, climate, and community crises.
We want to thank everyone that made this donation possible.

Ukraine Fundraiser

In April we raised $400.31 to help feed refugees and those still in Ukraine.
We want to thank everyone that had a part in supporting our fundraiser

We were asked by Family Promise of Hendricks County to help them with their Almost Home project.  They asked us to setup an art room for everyone in the home to use.  They also wanted our help with placing artwork throughout the home.  This home houses homeless families in Hendricks County while they are in the process of getting a place that they can call home.

We were honored to be able to assist with such a worthwhile project.

Community Mural Project

Leave your mark as a downtown Danville muralist.
During the Plein Air event, people had an opportunity to paint part of a mural in downtown Danville.  This took place outside the Gallery on the Square August 13.   Each person was able to paint a little 6" square. When the squares are placed together a Blanton House mural will be created.

This project is sponsored by the Downtown Danville Partnership.
