Eileen Alexander
Painting with fabric "Art Quilting"
After a lifetime of sewing & counted cross-stitching, I began quilting in 2007 when I took a beginners class at The Stitching Nook in Richmond. My work has won blue ribbons, Best of Show, Grand Champion, and Visitor’s Choice ribbons at the Mooreland Free Fair, Franklin County Quilt Show in Brookville, Metamora Quilt Show, Wayne County Extension Homemakers Quilt Show and the Hendricks County 4-H Fair. I have also exhibited at the Indiana Heritage Quilt Show in Bloomington and at Reflected Light in 2019, 2021, 2022, and 2023.

In 2018 I began to expand into embellished, protest, and art quilts. I especially love doing rural scenes, trees, and old barns and light houses. I currently display and sell my traditional and art quilt products at The Gallery on the Square in Danville. I am a member of INfiber and have exhibited my art quilts at the TwentyNorth Gallery in Greenfield and the Sugar Creek Art Center in Thorntown.
