                                                    Plein Air Paint Out
Saturday, August 15, 2020, the Gallery on the Square in Danville, Indiana, in cooperation with the Downtown Danville Partnership, is hosting its 3rd Annual Plein Air Event. The event provides artists and guests the opportunity to experience the historic town of Danville. We are excited and grateful to our sponsors for the gifts of more than $2,000 in prizes.

Award-Winning paintings will be on display and for
sale at the Gallery on the Square through September 15.
Guests are invited to visit the Gallery during this time to
vote for this award.  We will request that sold pieces
remain at the Gallery through September 15.

NEW!  7-10 am Check-in at the Gallery on the Square,  
51 S Washington St.  Here you will enjoy donuts, juice and coffee/tea.   Up to 3 canvas can be stamped here. (Only one
may be turned in for judging)

3:30 pm Deadline for turning in completed artwork at
the Ellis Park Train Station
 600 E Main St. Enjoy a light
evening meal and other refreshments and surprises while
the artwork is being judged.

6:00 pm Cash Awards Presented Public Sale of Plein air artwork.

Time:  Set-up between 10-Noon

Fair:  Noon – 6:30 pm

Fine Print:

The Artist’s name and price of artwork need to be on a card placed on the back of the painting when turned in.

Please do not sign artwork until after judging.

Wet paintings need to be framed for safe handling.

To have your name included in the Event Program you need to be registered by Friday, August 7.

*Professional:  One who is trained or has studied beyond high school and has a degree in art, and/or has had work accepted in one or more major juried shows, i.e.,  Hoosier Salon, Indiana Heritage Arts, etc., and/or has been accepted into an established Gallery and/or earned their living entirely or partially (over $600 per year) with their art.  This may include those teaching art in school or workshops.
