Susie Ardelean

I am a mixed media abstract artist, and I create ethereal artwork using inks, isopropyl alcohol, acrylics, gold leaf, crystals, flowers, and resin. I work out of my home studio in Avon, IN. I enjoy playing with different mediums and teaching classes. It is a joy to share art with others!

Art has always been an important part of my life. I discovered alcohol inks in the fall of 2018 and dove heart-first into mixed media abstract artwork. Art has helped me move through and process grief, illness, and loss including a cancer diagnosis and recovery. It has also transported me to spaces of joy, expansion, and wonder. I truly believe in the healing and transformative power of art.

I love learning, spending time in nature, yoga, meditation, and spending time with family, friends, and my cat Pudding. I work in Marketing & Community Relations at a library.

Susie is the recipient of the 2024 People’s Choice Award at the Hoosier Art Salon. She participates in group and solo exhibitions and has artwork at Gallery on the Square in Danville, Create Art Studio in Broad Ripple, and High Frequency Arts on Main in Carmel.
